Privacy Policy

Recommendation inputs: task descriptions, priorities, clarification answers, and the AI tools you tell us you already use. These are used to calculate your recommendation and are carried in the page address (URL) while you browse. We do not save them to a database or link them to you.

Contact form: your name, email address, subject, and message when you contact us.

Technical information: like any website, our hosting and infrastructure providers process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. When you submit the contact form, we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) value derived from your IP address to limit spam; we do not store the IP address itself.

We do not require you to provide personal information to receive AI tool recommendations.

We do not use contact form information to send marketing messages.

Recommendations are calculated by our own rule-based scoring logic using a curated dataset. Your task description is not sent to any third-party AI service.

Because your inputs appear in the page address, they may be visible in your browser history and to anyone you share a results link with. Please avoid entering passwords, financial account information, confidential business materials, or other sensitive personal data into task descriptions.

With your affirmative permission, KnowB4YouAI uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website page visits and improve the service. The Google tag is not loaded and no analytics requests are sent before you accept. Declining does not affect recommendations or the contact form.

When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies and processes usage and device information, including page visits, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, and online identifiers. Google receives technical request information, including your IP address; GA4 states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not send contact form values, task descriptions, selected tools, URL query strings, or fragments in our manually configured page-view events.

Our tag requests analytics storage only; advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in our configuration. We do not use Google AdSense or advertising networks. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep analytics off.

You can accept, decline, or withdraw permission through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Withdrawal stops our tracking and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not automatically delete information already collected by Google. We do not currently use affiliate or referral links. Links to AI providers are ordinary links; once you visit a provider's site, its own privacy practices apply.

We share information only with service providers needed to run the website: website hosting and application infrastructure, including the database that stores contact form messages. These providers process information on our behalf and may keep their own technical and security logs under their own retention practices.

If you consent to analytics, Google also processes website usage information as described in section 4. Google's processing may occur in the United States or other countries.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We do not control the independent privacy practices of third party AI platforms that you choose to visit.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing the website, responding to inquiries, maintaining security, and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Recommendation inputs: not stored by us. They exist only in the page address and your browser history.

Contact form messages: kept while we respond to and follow up on your request, and afterward only as long as reasonably needed for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as keeping a record of privacy requests. Messages are removed manually; we do not currently use automatic deletion. You can ask us to delete your message at any time (see section 9).

Technical and security logs: kept by our hosting and infrastructure providers according to their own retention practices.

Optional analytics: retained according to the Google Analytics property's configured retention settings and Google's processing practices. The property's retention setting still needs verification; we do not promise a specific retention period. You may contact us about information already collected.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information being handled. Contact messages are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible.

However, no website or electronic transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@knowb4youai.com with the subject "Privacy Request," or choose "Privacy or Data Request" on our Contact page.

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within timelines required by applicable law.

If applicable law provides an appeal right, you may submit an appeal using the same contact method with the subject "Privacy Appeal."

KnowB4YouAI is a general-audience service and is not directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us.

Our website may be accessible internationally. Personal information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Additional privacy requirements may apply depending on a visitor's location.

We may revise this Privacy Policy when our technology, services, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published here with its effective date.
